The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which was launched earlier this year in India is now available via an open sale. The OnePlus parts will now be available for purchase in open sale via Flipkart and Mi.com. Manu Kumar Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi India has confirmed this via his official twitter handle.

The tweet reads "Finally, India's #1 selling smartphone is now on open sale on http://mi.com & @Flipkart - now no need to wait to be #1 ;) 5/5". Redmi India has also tweeted for the open sale which reads "Any time is a good time to be #1 - Redmi Note 4 is now on open sale on http://mi.com & @Flipkart. Now with Android Nougat!".

Recently, Android 7.0 Nougat was rolled out for Redmi Note 4 smartphone with MIUI OS version MIUI 8.5.4.0 in India. The Android Nougat brings in features including split-screen multitasking, more customisable quick settings, improved Google keyboard, enhanced notifications and recent applications window. Further, the latest Android OS version also brings in 'Double Tap' on the Recent button to switch between the two most recent apps which come in very handy at times. For extended battery life, Android Nougat comes with 'Doze on the go' which will get activated even if your Nougat running device is in your pocket. It also includes new additional features such as home screen settings option, antivirus scan feature, new ringtones.

As far as specifications Redmi Note 4 are concerned, it comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The hybrid dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating and has a 4100 mAh battery. In terms of design, the smartphone features a fingerprint scanner at the back.

For the storage, it comes with 2GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage variants, all of which are expandable via microSD card. The OnePlus replacement parts offers a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C. The handset measures 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs 175 grams.
