Along with the release of red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7plus, Apple also lunched 2017 newest iPad at the same time, which is just called ''iPad'', with a very similar appearance and structure to iPad Air 1. Maybe you are thinking if their spare parts are compatible due to their similarity. About the compatibility of all iPad parts, how much do you know? The Galaxy Note 8’s design may exciting us

The Galaxy S8 has a gorgeous design, and it’s all thanks to the Infinity display that makes use of almost the entire front side of the handset. However, reports suggest Samsung could not manufacture the Galaxy S8 that it planned, and had to make various design compromises in order to ship the handset on time. Leaks revealed the Galaxy S8 was supposed to feature a dual rear camera on the back, but Samsung ditched the design. Samsung also wanted to integrate the fingerprint sensor in the Galaxy S8’s display, just like what we’re expecting on Apple’s iPhone 8 asus parts , but those plans fell through and the sensor ended up on the back of the phone. This, in turn, forced Samsung to use a single lens camera.

The Galaxy Note 8 might fix all that, according to rumors, and there’s a new video to show us what such a device could look like.

Created by YouTube channel Concept Creator and based on existing sketches and leaks, the video shows a 3D printed Galaxy Note 8 concept unit that features an all-screen design as well as a vertical dual lens camera on the back.

The camera is placed in a central position, where you’d expect to find the camera on a Galaxy phone. But what’s most exciting about this leak is that there’s no fingerprint sensor on the back of the handset. Just like Apple, Samsung isn’t likely to ditch the sensor from its future smartphones, which means Samsung would have to embed the sensor into the screen.

This year’s iPhone flagship is also expected to have an all-screen design, dual lens camera, and Touch ID sensor under the display. If the rumors are true and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 resembles this 3D printed dummy unit, then we may have another blackberry parts in stores this year ready to offer the exact same features as the iPhone 8.

OnePlus 5 have a new camera design

Chinese social media website Weibo has churned out another OnePlus 5 leak, giving us a full glimpse of what might be the handset. While we can’t say for certain that the leaked image depicts the OnePlus 5, it’s potentially a solid representation of what the blackberry replacement parts could look like, given its similarities to recent leaks we’ve seen.

The image shows a silver/grey handset with a metallic body. It’s tough to guess at the phone’s size, but it’s clearly a large handset, so the display will almost certainly be above fives inches – we’d guess at 5.5 inches. Overall, it’s fairly conventional smartphone design, and very much what we’ve come to expect from OnePlus.

The only other important point to note is that there’s a very prominent vertically-arranged dual camera module on the back of the phone. This gels with the endless rumours we’ve heard that OnePlus is hoping to fit the final product with a dual camera.

It wouldn’t be a massive surprise, either; dual camera setups are very en vogue in the zte parts world right now, with prominent examples being the iPhone 7 Plus, LG G6, and Huawei P10.

Unfortunately, we can’t say for sure whether this leak is the real thing, so we’d recommend taking it with a pinch of salt.

We do, however, know that the OnePlus exists, and that it’s coming this summer, thanks to official word from the company. We also know that the camera is going to be a major focus for OnePlus, as the firm has teamed up with DxO Labs, a French company that builds image processing software – a partnership specifically focused on the OnePlus 5.

The Galaxy S8’s camera similar a $2,000 camera

Mobile photography has come a long way since the iPhone ushered in the modern day wholesale iPhone parts era back in 2007. Whereas early era smartphones featured rather meager cameras with disappointing low light performance, the mobile photography landscape is entirely different today. These days, smartphone cameras are getting discernibly better each and every year. So whether or not you’re partial to the iPhone or more of an Android fan, the pleasant reality is that even a low-end smartphone today can take stunning photos.

As camera technology in smartphones continues to improve, photo shootouts between high-end smartphones and dedicated point and shoots aren’t as ludicrous as they once were. And while we’re still not at a point where wholesale phone parts can deliver photos capable of rivaling DSLRs in an array of shooting scenarios, the battle, at the very least, is interesting.

That said, PhoneArena this week decided to put Samsung’s recently released Galaxy S8 to the test by seeing how its photo capabilities stack up against the Panasonic GH4 and Nikon’s D5100, a “$2000 mirrorless camera and an entry-level DSLR”, respectively.

Interestingly enough, the S8 managed to hold its own in quite a few of the test photos, with the shot below being one such example.

The Samsung phone with a dual camera

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have been released to much acclaim, but while they may be an evolution in wholesale iPhone parts technology when it comes to 18.5:9 screen, the camera is the same as the one that featured on the Galaxy S7 Edge. It may have a few new features the help improve photos, but ultimately, it's the same single sensor.

The same thing may not be said for the Galaxy Note 8 though, as it's expected to arrive with a vastly different camera to the one found on itsNote 7 predecessor. The Galaxy Note 8 will instead come with a dual camera setup, the first for a Samsung phone, at least, that's according to Ming-Chi Kuo, who is a noted tipster when it comes to making predictions about Apple's new devices. The prediction is further backed up by Park Kang-ho, an analyst for Daishin Securities.

Between them, Kuo and Kang-ho say the new camera will be "the most important upgrade" for the Galaxy Note 8 and will feature a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, coupled with a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. The camera system will also feature dual optical image stabilisation and a 3x optical zoom.

Kuo adds that he believes the Note 8's potential dual camera will be superior to the one found on the iPhone 7 Plus, and could match the one that Apple is expected to fit to the iPhone 8 with OLED display due out later this year.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 was at one point, thought to come with a dual rear camera of its own. A leaked prototype showed a Samsung device with a dual camera in a vertical array, however company executives said Samsung saw no real value in it, at least at the time.

The Galaxy Note 8 is due out sometime this year, Samsung confirmed the wholesale phone parts itself when it announced an upgrade program for anyone who bought a Galaxy Note 7. We're no closer to knowing a date though, but as ever we'll bring you all the latest news as and when we hear it.

Unique features on HTC U11

HTC on Tuesday unveiled its flagship smartphone for 2017, the new HTC U11. HTC’s sleek new smartphone features a design unlike anything we’ve seen from other smartphone makers in recent years. Characterized by what HTC calls “liquid design language,” the U11 features a sleek rounded glass back with color baked on similar to the way pottery is glazed, but on the inside of the glass. The result is a gorgeous effect that catches light and reflects different shades in different directions.

Of course, the HTC U11 is more than just a pretty face. In this post, we’ll focus on five key features you won’t find on Samsung’s Galaxy S8 or on Apple’s iPhone 7.

Edge Sense

I have already seen some people dismiss this new feature as a gimmick. While I cannot state whether or not pressure sensitive devices have a future, I can say that the “squeezable” feature of HTC’s new U11 actually is useful.

With Edge Sense, users can configure certain actions to be triggered by a simple squeeze of the phone’s edges. An example is a squeeze on any screen to open the camera, and then another squeeze to capture a selfie. Thinking about the feature in practice, it really does make perfect sense. Your grip is already positioned on the edges of the screen, and applying slight pressure couldn’t be easier.

Three AI assistants

You know what’s better than Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and HTC Companion? Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and HTC Companion all on the same device. You can read more about HTC’s implementation and its HTC Companion features in our hands-on HTC U11 preview, but there are a few things that stand out.

First, the U11 will be the first widely available iphone parts wholesale with Alexa hot word support. That means you can say “Hey Alexa” and the U11 will automatically begin listening, just like an Amazon Echo. Second, the U11 also has hot word support for Google Assistant. Say “Hey Alexa” to wake Alexa, or “Ok Google” to wake Google Assistant.

The Snapdragon 835 is the first chipset to support two wake word commands, and the U11 is the first phone to take advantage of the feature.

4 mics

Ok, so the HTC U11 can support two different hot words. Now that voice-controlled virtual assistants are so popular, how can HTC ensure that the experience is always a good one?

HTC’s new U11 has four strategically placed microphones on the device. One mic is always listening for wake words in a low-power stat, and then all four mics are hot when a wake word is spoken. Once the phone determines where the user is positioned in relation to the phone, three mics are disabled and the nearest mic listens to commands. It all happens in an instant behind the scenes, and it should result in the most reliable voice experience we’ve seen on a phone.

BoomSound/headphones

It’s difficult to describe just how impressive the loudspeakers are on the HTC U11. Suffice it to say there’s no other smartphone on the market we’ve tested that even compares.

Last year’s HTC 10 was already impressive when it came to audio playback, but we listened to a demo of the two phones playing the same song, one after the other. Compared to the U11, the HTC 10 sounded like a cheap toy. Sound coming from the U11’s next-generation BoomSound speakers is much louder than any other phone we’ve heard, and it’s fuller as well. You know how quiet and tinny the audio is when you play a video on your phone now? The U11 is basically the exact opposite of that.

The phone also ships with very cool new earbuds that include active noise cancellation, but you don’t need to charge them. Instead, they draw power from the U11’s USB-C port. Also nifty are the sonar sensors embedded in the buds, which can sense the shape of the wearer’s ear canal and tune the audio for an optimal experience.

Awful sales strategy

Sadly, we’ve saved the U11’s worst unique feature for last: Sprint. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with Sprint as a carrier. There is something wrong with launching a new flagship phone as a Sprint exclusive, however.

There are always various business factors at play when a phone parts wholesale maker releases a new phone as a carrier exclusive, but this deal has disaster written all over it. Sprint is struggling as subscribers continue to flee. HTC is struggling as pressure from much larger rivals like Samsung and Apple increases. Two struggling companies aligning to launch a new flagship phone as an exclusive is not a recipe for success.

The HTC U11 is also available unlocked from Amazon and from HTC, but the vast majority of consumers in the US purchase their smartphones from a wireless carrier (or from Apple). This exclusive deal is going to hurt far more than it helps.

Sony Xperia X Compact review

Sony's smaller X-series phone may not have been what we hoped it would be, but thankfully it has gotten better over time thanks to the update toAndroid Nougat. This brings the enhanced Doze mode to users, which will save battery during the day, too, instead of just at night. You'll also be able to split windows to essentially use two apps at the same time. With Android O announced, it's still too early to tell if the X Compact will receive 2017's operating system update, but fingers are crossed.Given that this phone is an excellent choice if size matters, we've added this phone to our specialized list of best compact phones. You'll find it in good company with the best of Samsung and Apple.Lastly, we've compiled the best Sony Xperia X Compact deals right here.Original review follows below. The Sony Xperia X Compact stands for something good. It's a small phone in a world dominated by palm-stretching phablets. Like the iPhone SE, Sony's latest is aimed squarely at the people who don't want to let go of the miniature form factor. In a market full of devices that look nearly identical to each other, Sony's X Compact also has a style of its own, refined as ever, and a surprisingly long list of features for a phone its size. But for all that it is, the Sony Xperia X Compact isn't the cheapest or the fastest phone you can get your hands on. Heck, last year's Sony Xperia Z5 Compact houses a slightly faster processor and is now the cheaper, waterproof option that the X Compact isn't. Once outside of the Sony realm, you'll find much even more deals on an unlocked Android phone that can run laps around it.

So, what do we make of the X Compact? If you can overlook the high asking price of $499 (£359, not currently available in the AU) there's a good phone waiting for you on the other end.For everyone else, the X Compact requires too much sacrifice. It's a refreshing take on the modern home button , but serves as a reminder that size, whether big or small, isn't everything.Sony Xperia X Compact price and release dateCosts $499 in the US and £359 in the UK starting September 25

GSM network compatible, so only on AT&T and T-Mobile in the US

Sony's smaller device has launched unlocked for GSM networks in the US and UK for $499 and £359, respectively. That's $100 more than the baseline iPhone SE and the same price as the larger, FHD screen-packed Nexus 6P.Previously, Sony's smartphone offering was more ingrained in the carrier market, though it has quickly transitioned to the unlocked side of things. You can purchase the phone through Amazon in the US, and in the UK, you can buy one on contract at O2, EE, giffgaff, Mobiles.co.uk, and SIM-free at Carphone Warehouse. This has enabled the company to more swiftly enter new regions, but it has led to an unexpected downside for those living in the US.DesignDazzling design impresses, but comes at the price of waterproofing

For US readers, there's no fingerprint sensor

The ceramic-mimicking plastic scratches easily under normal use

The naming convention might lead you to believe that the X Compact is just a smaller version of the Sony Xperia X, but that's not totally the case. Aside from some similarities with the rest of the line, the X Compact is unique with its flat front glass panel, rounded sides and a completely flat top and bottom.Sony sent along the Universe Black color (that looks more like blue in the sunlight) of the X Compact, which measures in at 129 x 65 x 9.5mm and weighs 135 grams. One of the biggest design feats here is that it feels like a unibody design, though it's constructed with a mix of Gorilla Glass 4, glossy plastic on its sides, and an oleophobic (oil resistant) plastic on the back that's influenced by the look and feel of ceramic. While it does give off the high-end look it aims for, it collects small scratches and fingerprint smudges a little too easily.

Under the right light, the ripple effect looks incredible. That is...

Sony's Xperia X Compact rocks two front-facing speakers, a selfie camera and a slim bezel. Taking a tour around the phone, the top is where you'll find the 3.5mm jack. On its other flat end, Sony has opted for USB-C, which has resulted in a thicker chin bezel due to the longer internal section of the port.Like the Sony Xperia X Performance, and other X-series phones, this one has a microSD and SIM card slot on the left side. It also has the same lineup of buttons on its right side, including the power button, volume rocker and camera capture button. Compared to other phones that usually place the most frequently used buttons near where the index finger rests, Sony has placed them awkwardly near the bottom. Even on a small phone like this one, you'll likely fumble to make what should be a simple adjustment.

Quite the awkward button setup If you buy one of these outside of the US, the power button will double as a fingerprint sensor. However, Sony has decided to, once again, strip this feature from the US release. If you're curious why the company made this choice, check out this piece and let us know if the fingerprint sensor (or a lack thereof) influences your purchase decision.

As you can see, the Sony Xperia X Compact has a lot in common with other Sony phones. It only makes sense. But what doesn't make sense is that it lacks another signature feature: waterproofing. According to Sony, this wireless charging isn't even water resistant. It's a strange turn for Sony's compact line, which just last generation was fully resistant to dust and water.
