Full Process Presentation on Samsung Galaxy S20 Teardown
1. Tear down the battery door and wireless charging port
Power off the phone, eject and take out the SIM card tray. Use hot air gun to blow on the back battery door around the edge. Use suction cup to pull and ultra-thin plastic sheet to slice and separate the battery door. Take off the batter door and then we can see the wireless charging coil on the top. Unbolt the 15 Phillips screws for fixing the charging coil, then we are able to pry and take off the wireless charging coil with steel pry tool from the Samsung phone.
2. Take off the camera module and other small parts
After the charging coil is removed, we can see the flex cable ribbons. Disconnect the battery flex cable firstly. Pry and remove the antenna bracket with spudger on the upside of the phone. After that, we can remove the speaker bracket on the bottom in the same way. Pry and take off the SUB main flex ribbon and antenna flex for connecting the charging port board and mainboard. Unplug the display flex cable. Loosen the screws for fixing the mainboard, and disconnect the front facing camera flex cable. Use spudger to pry and take off the mainboard from the phone. The rear-facing camera module is combined on the mainboard, we can separate the rear cameras form the board. Unbolt the three Phillips screws and take off the Samsung S20 charging port PCB board with spudger. Hot air gun blows and gently pry off the ear speaker from the middle frame.
3. Tear down the battery from the middle frame
After the small parts are taken off from the display, here we can tear down the battery and separate the display screen. Add some battery sticker melted glue and pry the battery off from the middle frame with steel prying tool. Hot air gun blow on the display screen and use ultra-thin sheet to slice and separate the Samsung S20 display screen and digitizer from the frame. All teardown process for Samsung S20 is over.

How to Replace the Samsung S20 Charging Port PCB Board
1. Tear down the Samsung S20 back housing and take off the wireless charging coil
Firstly, we need to tear down the back housing. Power off the phone and take out the SIM card tray. Use a hot air gun to blow on the edge and corners of the back housing. Use a suction cup to pull and an ultra-thin plastic panel to slice and separate the back housing. Flip and remove it away after it is separated. Unbolt the eleven screws for fixing the wireless charging coil, disconnect the BTB interface cable. Pry and take off the charging coil with a steel prying tool. Just be careful and don’t break the flex.
2. Take off the bottom loudspeaker bracket and replace the charging port PCB board
Loosen the five screws for fixing the bottom loudspeaker bracket. Take off the bracket slowly. Disconnect the battery flex cable, the SUB mother board flex and the antenna flex with a spudger. Take off the flexes from the phone. Undo the five screws for fixing the Samsung S20 charging port PCB board, then we are able to take off the board. Use the steel prying tool to pry out and take off the charging port PCB board. Install the new PCB board into the phone, fixing it with the five screws.
3. Assemble the Samsung S20 phone and test the new replaced charging port
Connect the SUB mainboard flex and the antenna flex back. Assemble the bottom loudspeaker bracket back, and fix it with the five screws. Connect the battery flex cable after that. Install the wireless charging coil back and fixing it with the eleven screws. Assemble the back housing to the phone. Gently press on the back to seal up the phone. Insert the Samsung S20 SIM card tray back. Turn on the phone and plug the USB charger to check if the charging port is normal.
The whole process above may be a little complicated for a new repair beginner. Besides, we should be careful on slicing and tearing down the back housing because it is easy to be broken. How to Tear Down and Reassemble Samsung Galaxy A51
1. Steps of Samsung Galaxy A51 teardown
Firstly, we need to turn off the phone and take out the SIM card tray. Use hot air gun to blow on the edge of the back panel for 2 or 3 minutes and then use the suction cup and ultra-thin plastic sheet to slice and separate the back panel from the frame. After that, we can see the middle frame is fixing by 13 Phillips screws on the phone. Snap off the 13 screws, and remove the middle frame with plastic plectrum carefully. Disconnect the battery flex, and the SUB flex as well. Disconnect the antenna wire port, and then disconnect and remove the front-facing camera. Snap off the screw and remove the mainboard. After that, we can remove the fingerprint sensor and the charging port board. Lastly, remove the battery with steel pry tool careful, but remember to use battery adhesive sticker glue to melt the sticker before removing. Now the phone is completely torn down, let’s move to the next section about how to reassemble it.
2. Steps of Samsung Galaxy A51 reassembly
Just follow the teardown steps back, install the battery first. Don’t forget to past the adhesive sticker on the battery before installation. Place the Samsung A51 charging port board back and adjust the position. Connect the antenna wire port and the display flex cable. Install the fingerprint sensor and connect the flex, tighten the screws for fixing it. Install the mainboard back and fixing it with the screw. Connect the antenna wire port back to the board and install a front-facing camera. Connect the Samsung Galaxy A51 SUB flex and the battery flex cable back. Cover the middle frame, slightly press and make it tightly stick on the display, tighten the 13 screws for fixing the middle frame. Install the back penal, make sure it is in the right position. Slightly press the edge to make it tightly stick with the display.
3. Notice on Samsung A51 teardown procedure
There are things we have to notice during the teardown reassemble procedure. Firstly, the back panel and the middle frame is flexible but easy to be broken, we need to be careful and don’t twist it too much. Next, always remember to disconnect the battery cable in the first place before take down any internal parts, and connect it on the last after all the parts are installed in the reassembly. Furthermore, always remember the position of each inner part when reassembling the phone. Don’t miss any part or screw. The Samsung phone will not be 100% waterproof after teardown, you should be careful about using it after it is repaired.

1. Clear the camera app cache and data

How to replace Samsung Galaxy S10 Rear-facing Camera
1. Teardown the phone
Use a mobile phone opening tool to separate and take down the back cover. Loosen the Phillips screws and remove the plastic cover with wireless charging coil, and then disconnect the battery flex cable. Loosen the seven screws and remove the loudspeaker. Disconnect the flex cables and then remove the parts, which include a headphone jack and the front-facing camera, disconnect the mainboard flex cable as well. Loosen the three screws on the mainboard, and then eject and take out the SIM card holder.
2. Replace the rear-facing camera
After the mainboard is loosened, make sure all the flex cables are disconnected on the mainboard. It is time to take the mainboard off from the phone for rear-facing camera replacement. Flip over the mainboard and then we can see the rear-facing camera is fixing on the board with two connectors. Gently pry and disconnect the cables and remove the camera from the board, and then install the new camera on it. Make sure no fingerprint, dust or dirt left on the camera lens, then connect the flex cables.
3. Reassemble the phone
After the new Samsung Galaxy S10 rear-facing camera replacement is completed, then let’s move to the final step of the Samsung S10 reassemble. Firstly, install the mainboard back and make sure it is on the position as it used to be. Insert the SIM card holder back and then fixing the mainboard with the three screws. Install the front-facing camera and the headphone jack back on the board, then connect the mainboard flex cable. Place the loudspeaker back and fixing it with the seven screws. Connect the battery flex cable back and then place the plastic cover back. Fixing the cover with eight screws. Turn on the phone and test the new camera, make sure it is working ok. Samsung S10 Plus Teardown and Reinstallation Demonstration
1. Samsung S10 Plus Teardown:
Before we start the process of Samsung S10 teardown, we should take all the tools ready like the prying tools, screen opening suck-cup, Philip screwdriver. The whole process is complex and a bit difficult, we need to be careful and patient. Some of the internal parts and flex may be easy to break, we should focus on it. Now let’s do it.
1.1 Power off the phone, separate the backplate by prying it off with the pry tool
1.2 Undo the 16 Phillip screws on the backplate, take down the wireless charging pad
1.3 Remove the bottom plastic cover
1.4 Disconnect the battery cable, the string cable, the headphone jack cable, the front-facing camera cable and remove the front-facing camera
1.5 Unscrew the three Phillip screws on the board and remove the headphone jack
1.6 Remove the mainboard by prying up slowly, disconnect the back Samsung S10 Plus rear-facing cameras cable and remove it from the board
1.7 Peel off the protective tape and pry up and remove the copper vapor chamber
1.8 Separate the screen from the frame with a triangle prying tool
1.9 Tear off the protective adhesive tape and pry up the screen flex cable, don’t break the screen fingerprint scanner flex
1.10 Pry off the battery from the frame and then the vibrator motor and earpiece speaker as well
2. Samsung S10 Plus Restall:
The restore process is easier than teardown, we just follow the above step order back and reinstall the parts. On the other hand, we have to keep in mind the right place each part it used to be and don’t mess up the order. Here we go.
2.1 Put the headphone sticker and the vibrator motor back in the frame, as well as the battery
2.2 Insert the cable back to the slot, reseal the screen back to the frame and adjust the right position
2.3 Place the copper vapor chamber back
2.4 Put the front cameras back to the mainboard and connect the cable
2.5 Place the mainboard back and screw the three Phillip screws
